46:8. எகிப்தியனே பிரவாகத்தைப்போல் புரண்டுவருகிறான், அவனே அலைகள் மோதியடிக்கிற நதிகள்போல எழும்பிவருகிறான்; நான் போய், தேசத்தை மூடி, நகரத்தையும் அதில் குடியிருக்கிறவர்களையும் அழிப்பேன் என்றான்.

46:8. எகிப்து நைல் நதியைப்போன்று புரண்டு வருகிறான். அந்த ஆற்றின் பலத்தையும் வேகத்தையும் போன்று எகிப்து வருகிறான். எகிப்து, ‘நான் வந்து பூமியை மூடுவேன். நான் நகரங்களையும் அவற்றில் உள்ள ஜனங்களையும் அழிப்பேன்" என்று கூறுகிறான்.

46:8. Egypt rises like the Nile, like its streams turbulent at flood stage. Egypt says, 'I will arise and cover the earth. I will destroy cities and the people who inhabit them.'

46:8. It is the Egyptian army, overflowing all the land, boasting that it will cover the earth like a flood, destroying cities and their people.

46:8. Egypt riseth up like the Nile, and his waters toss themselves like the rivers: and he saith, I will rise up, I will cover the earth; I will destroy cities and the inhabitants thereof.

46:8. Egypt rises like the Nile, like rivers whose waters surge. He said, 'I will rise, I will cover the earth, I will destroy cities and their inhabitants.'

46:8. Egypt riseth up like a flood, and [his] waters are moved like the rivers; and he saith, I will go up, [and] will cover the earth; I will destroy the city and the inhabitants thereof.

46:8. It is Egypt that comes like the rising Nile River. It is Egypt that comes like that strong, fast river. Egypt says, 'I will come and cover the earth. I will destroy the cities and the people in them.'
