37:20. இப்போதும் ராஜாவாகிய என் ஆண்டவனே, எனக்குச் செவிகொடுத்து, என் விண்ணப்பத்துக்கு தயைசெய்து, என்னைச் சம்பிரதியாகிய யோனத்தானுடைய வீட்டிற்குத் திரும்ப அனுப்பவேண்டாம்; அனுப்பினால் நான் அங்கே செத்துப்போவேன் என்றான்.

37:20. ஆனால், இப்பொழுது யூதாவின் அரசனே நான் சொல்வதைக் கேள். என் விண்ணப்பத்தை தயவுசெய்து கேள். இதுதான் நான் கேட்பது. என்னைத் திரும்ப எழுத்தாளனான யோனாத்தானின் வீட்டிற்கு அனுப்பவேண்டாம். நீர் என்னை அங்கு அனுப்பினால் நான் அங்கே மரிப்பேன்" என்று சொன்னான்.

37:20. But now please listen, your royal Majesty, and grant my plea for mercy. Do not send me back to the house of Jonathan, the royal secretary. If you do, I will die there."

37:20. Listen, my lord the king, I beg you. Don't send me back to the dungeon in the house of Jonathan the secretary, for I will die there."

37:20. And now hear, I pray thee, O my lord the king: let my supplication, I pray thee, be presented before thee, that thou cause me not to return to the house of Jonathan the scribe, lest I die there.

37:20. Now hear, please, O my lord the king: let my humble plea come before you and do not send me back to the house of Jonathan the secretary, lest I die there."

37:20. Therefore hear now, I pray thee, O my lord the king: let my supplication, I pray thee, be accepted before thee; that thou cause me not to return to the house of Jonathan the scribe, lest I die there.

37:20. Now hear, I pray you, O my lord the king: let my humble plea come before you, and do not send me back to the house of Jonathan the secretary, lest I die there."

37:20. And now hear, I pray thee, O my lord the king: let my supplication, I pray thee, be accepted before thee; that thou cause me not to return to the house of Jonathan the scribe, lest I die there.

37:20. And now, hearken, I pray thee, my lord, O king, let my supplication fall, I pray thee, before thee, and cause me not to return [to] the house of Jonathan the scribe, that I die not there.`

37:20. But now, my lord, king of Judah, please listen to me. Please let me bring my request to you. This is what I ask: Don't send me back to the house of Jonathan the scribe. If you send me back, I will die there."

37:20. Then Zedekiah the king commanded, and they committed Jeremiah into the court of the guard; and they gave him daily a loaf of bread out of the bakers\' street, until all the bread in the city was spent. Thus Jeremiah remained in the court of the guard.

37:20.
