20:16. அந்த மனுஷன், கர்த்தர் மனம்மாறாமல் கவிழ்த்துப்போட்ட பட்டணங்களைப்போலிருந்து, காலமே அலறுதலையும் மத்தியான வேளையிலே கூக்குரலையும் கேட்கக்கடவன்.

20:16. கர்த்தர் அழித்துப்போட்ட பட்டணங்களைப் போன்று அந்த மனிதன் ஆவானாக. கர்த்தர் அந்தப் பட்டணங்கள் மீது எவ்வித இரக்கமும் கெள்ளவில்லை. காலையில் அம்மனிதன் போரின் ஒலிகளைக் கேட்கட்டும். மதிய வேளையில் அவன் போர்க்கதறல்களைக் கேட்கட்டும்.

20:16. May that man be like the cities that the LORD destroyed without showing any mercy. May he hear a cry of distress in the morning and a battle cry at noon.

20:16. Let him be destroyed like the cities of old that the LORD overthrew without mercy. Terrify him all day long with battle shouts,

20:16. And let that man be as the cities which Jehovah overthrew, and repented not: and let him hear a cry in the morning, and shouting at noontime;
