18:13. ஆகையால் கர்த்தர் சொல்லுகிறார்: இப்படிப்பட்டவைகளைக் கேள்விப்பட்டவன் யார் என்று புறஜாதிகளுக்குள்ளே விசாரித்துப்பாருங்கள்; மிகவும் திடுக்கிடத்தக்க காரியத்தை இஸ்ரவேல் என்னும் கன்னிகை செய்கிறாள்.

18:13. கர்த்தர் சொல்கிறவற்றை கவனியுங்கள். "மற்ற தேசத்தாரிடம் இந்தக் கேள்வியைக் கேளுங்கள். ‘இஸ்ரவேல் செய்திருக்கிற தீயச் செயல்களை எவராவது செய்ததாக நீங்கள் எப்பொழுதாவது கேள்விபட்டிருக்கிறீர்களா?’" தேவனுக்கு இஸ்ரவேலர் சிறப்புக்குரியவர்கள். இஸ்ரவேலர் தேவனுடைய மணமகளைப் போன்றவள்!

18:13. Therefore, the LORD says, "Ask the people of other nations whether they have heard of anything like this. Israel should have been like a virgin. But she has done something utterly revolting!
