14:17. என் கண்களிலிருந்து இரவும்பகலும் ஓயாமல் கண்ணீர் ஓடிக்கொண்டிருக்கும்; என் ஜனமென்கிற குமாரத்தியாகிய கன்னிகை மகா வேதனையுள்ள அடியினாலும் கொடிய காயத்தினாலும் சேதப்பட்டிருக்கிறாள்.

14:17. "எரேமியா, யூதாவின் ஜனங்களிடம் இச்செய்தியைக் கூறு, ‘எனது கண்கள் கண்ணீரால் நிரம்பியுள்ளன. நான் இரவும் பகவும் நிறுத்தாமல் அழுவேன். நான் எனது மகளான கன்னிக்காக அழுவேன். நான் எனது ஜனங்களுக்காக அழுவேன். ஏனென்றால், யாரோ ஒருவர் அவர்களைத் தாக்குவர், அவர்களை நசுக்குவர், அவர்கள் மிக மோசமாகக் காயப்படுவார்கள்.

14:17. "Tell these people this, Jeremiah: 'My eyes overflow with tears day and night without ceasing. For my people, my dear children, have suffered a crushing blow. They have suffered a serious wound.

14:17. Now, Jeremiah, say this to them: "Night and day my eyes overflow with tears. I cannot stop weeping, for my virgin daughter-- my precious people-- has been struck down and lies mortally wounded.

14:17. And thou shalt say this word unto them, Let mine eyes run down with tears night and day, and let them not cease; for the virgin daughter of my people is broken with a great breach, with a very grievous wound.

14:17. "You shall say to them this word: 'Let my eyes run down with tears night and day, and let them not cease, for the virgin daughter of my people is shattered with a great wound, with a very grievous blow.

14:17. Therefore thou shalt say this word unto them; Let mine eyes run down with tears night and day, and let them not cease: for the virgin daughter of my people is broken with a great breach, with a very grievous blow.
