54:8. அற்பகாலம் மூண்ட கோபத்தினால் என் முகத்தை இமைப்பொழுது உனக்கு மறைத்தேன்; ஆனாலும் நித்திய கிருபையுடன் உனக்கு இரங்குவேன் என்று கர்த்தராகிய உன் மீட்பர் சொல்லுகிறார்.

54:8. நான் மிகவும் கோபம்கொண்டேன். கொஞ்ச காலத்திற்கு உன்னிடமிருந்து மறைந்திருந்தேன். ஆனால் என்றென்றும் உன்னைத் தயவுடன் ஆறுதல்படுத்துவேன்" உனது மீட்பரான கர்த்தர் இதனைக் கூறினார்.
