5:13. என் ஜனங்கள் அறிவில்லாமையினால் சிறைப்பட்டுப்போகிறார்கள்; அவர்களில் கனமுள்ளவர்கள் பட்டினியினால் தொய்ந்துபோகிறார்கள்; அவர்களுடைய திரளான கூட்டத்தார் தாகத்தால் நாவறண்டு போகிறார்கள்.

5:13. கர்த்தர், "என் ஜனங்கள் சிறை பிடிக்கப்பட்டு வெளியேற்றப்படுவார்கள். ஏனென்றால், அவர்கள் என்னை உண்மையில் அறிந்துகொள்ளவில்லை. இஸ்ரவேலில் வாழ்கின்ற சிலர் இப்பொழுது முக்கியமானவர்களாக உள்ளனர். அவர்கள் தம் எளிமையான வாழ்வில் மகிழ்ச்சியாக இருக்கிறார்கள். ஆனால் அவர்கள் அனைவரும் தாகத்தாலும், பசியாலும் துன்பமடைவார்கள்.

5:13. Therefore my people will be deported because of their lack of understanding. Their leaders will have nothing to eat, their masses will have nothing to drink.

5:13. So my people will go into exile far away because they do not know me. Those who are great and honored will starve, and the common people will die of thirst.

5:13. Therefore my people are gone into captivity for lack of knowledge; and their honorable men are famished, and their multitude are parched with thirst.
