40:6. பின்னும் கூப்பிட்டுச் சொல் என்று ஒரு சத்தம் உண்டாயிற்று; என்னத்தைக் கூப்பிட்டுச் சொல்வேன் என்றேன். அதற்கு: மாம்சமெல்லாம் புல்லைப்போலவும், அதின் மேன்மையெல்லாம் வெளியின் பூவைப்போலவும் இருக்கிறது.

40:6. ஒரு குரல் சொன்னது, "பேசு! "எனவே ஒருவன் கேட்டான், "நான் என்ன சொல்லவேண்டும்?" அந்த குரல் சொன்னது, "ஜனங்கள் என்றென்றைக்கும் வாழமாட்டார்கள். அனைத்து ஜனங்களும் புல்லைப் போன்றவர்கள். அவர்களது நன்மை ஒரு காட்டு மலர் போன்றது.

40:6. A voice says, "Cry out!" Another asks, "What should I cry out?" The first voice responds: "All people are like grass, and all their promises are like the flowers in the field.

40:6. A voice said, "Shout!" I asked, "What should I shout?" "Shout that people are like the grass. Their beauty fades as quickly as the flowers in a field.

40:6. The voice of one saying, Cry. And one said, What shall I cry? All flesh is grass, and all the goodliness thereof is as the flower of the field.
