40:22. அவர் பூமி உண்டையின்மேல் வீற்றிருக்கிறவர்; அதின் குடிகள் வெட்டுக்கிளிகளைப்போல இருக்கிறார்கள்; அவர் வானங்களை மெல்லிய திரையாகப் பரப்பி, அவைகளைக் குடியிருக்கிறதற்கான கூடாரமாக விரிக்கிறார்.

40:22. கர்த்தரே உண்மையான தேவனாய் இருக்கிறார்! அவர் பூமி வளையத்தின்மேல் அமர்ந்திருக்கிறார். அவரோடு ஒப்பிடும்போது, ஜனங்கள் வெட்டுக்கிளிகளைப் போலிருக்கிறார்கள். அவர் வானங்களை ஒரு துண்டு துணியைப்போல் பரப்புகிறார். அவர் வானங்களைக் குடியிருப்பதற்கான கூடாராமாக்குகிறார்.

40:22. He is the one who sits on the earth's horizon; its inhabitants are like grasshoppers before him. He is the one who stretches out the sky like a thin curtain, and spreads it out like a pitched tent.

40:22. God sits above the circle of the earth. The people below seem like grasshoppers to him! He spreads out the heavens like a curtain and makes his tent from them.

40:22. It is he that sitteth above the circle of the earth, and the inhabitants thereof are as grasshoppers; that stretcheth out the heavens as a curtain, and spreadeth them out as a tent to dwell in;
