3:26. அவளுடைய வாசல்கள் துக்கித்துப் புலம்பும்; அவள் வெறுமையாக்கப்பட்டுத் தரையிலே உட்காருவாள் என்கிறார்.

3:26. நகர வாசல்களின் சந்திகளில் அழுகை ஒலியும், துக்கமும் நிறைந்திருக்கும். எருசலேமோ, கள்ளர்களிடமும் கொள்ளைக்காரர்களிடமும் அனைத்தையும் இழந்துவிட்ட பெண்ணைப்போன்று இருப்பாள். அவள் தரையில் அமர்ந்து அழுவாள்.

3:26. Her gates will mourn and lament; deprived of her people, she will sit on the ground.

3:26. The gates of Zion will weep and mourn. The city will be like a ravaged woman, huddled on the ground.

3:26. And her gates shall lament and mourn; and she shall be desolate and sit upon the ground.

3:26. There will be crying and sadness in the meeting places by the city gates. Jerusalem will sit there empty, like a woman who has lost everything to thieves and robbers and now just sits on the ground and cries.
