29:10. கர்த்தர் உங்கள்மேல் கனநித்திரையின் ஆவியை வரப்பண்ணி, உங்கள் கண்களை அடைத்து, ஞானதிருஷ்டிக்காரராகிய உங்கள் தீர்க்கதரிசிகளுக்கும் தலைவர்களுக்கும் முக்காடு போட்டார்.

29:10. கர்த்தர் உங்களைத் தூங்கச் செய்வார். கர்த்தர் உங்கள் கண்களை மூடச்செய்வார். (தீர்க்கதரிசிகள் உங்கள் கண்களாய் இருக்கிறார்கள்). கர்த்தர் உங்கள் தலைகளை மூடுவார். (தீர்க்கதரிசிகள் உங்கள் தலைகளாய் இருக்கிறார்கள்).

29:10. For the LORD has poured out on you a strong urge to sleep deeply. He has shut your eyes (the prophets), and covered your heads (the seers).

29:10. For the LORD has poured out on you a spirit of deep sleep. He has closed the eyes of your prophets and visionaries.

29:10. For Jehovah hath poured out upon you the spirit of deep sleep, and hath closed your eyes, the prophets; and your heads, the seers, hath he covered.

29:10. The Lord will make you sleepy. He will close your eyes. (The prophets are your eyes.) He will cover your heads. (The prophets are your heads.)

29:10. For Yahweh has poured out on you the spirit of deep sleep, and has closed your eyes, the prophets; and your heads, the seers, has he covered.
