25:2. நீர் நகரத்தை மண்மேடும், அரணான பட்டணத்தைப் பாழுமாக்கினீர்; அந்நியரின் ராஜதானியை ஊராயிராதபடிக்கும், என்றைக்கும் கட்டப்படாதபடிக்கும் செய்தீர்.

25:2. நீர் நகரத்தை அழித்திருக்கிறீர். அந்த நகரமானது பலமான சுவர்களால் பாதுகாக்கப்பட்டது. ஆனால் இப்போது அது மண்மேடாயிற்று. அயல்நாட்டு அரண்மனை அழிக்கப்பட்டிருக்கிறது. அது மீண்டும் கட்டப்படமாட்டாது.

25:2. Indeed, you have made the city into a heap of rubble, the fortified town into a heap of ruins; the fortress of foreigners is no longer a city, it will never be rebuilt.

25:2. You turn mighty cities into heaps of ruins. Cities with strong walls are turned to rubble. Beautiful palaces in distant lands disappear and will never be rebuilt.
