16:2. இல்லாவிட்டால் கூட்டைவிட்டுத் துரத்தப்பட்டு அலைகிற குருவியைப்போல மோவாபின் குமாரத்திகள் அர்னோன் நதியின் துறைகளிடத்திலிருப்பார்கள்.

16:2. மோவாபின் பெண்கள் அர்னோன் ஆற்றை கடக்க முயன்றனர். அவர்கள் உதவிக்காக ஒரு இடத்திலிருந்து இன்னொரு இடத்துக்கு ஓடுகிறார்கள். மரத்திலிருந்து கூடு விழுந்த பிறகு, அதை இழந்த பறவைகளைப் போன்றிருக்கின்றனர்.

16:2. At the fords of the Arnon the Moabite women are like a bird that flies about when forced from its nest.

16:2. The women of Moab are left like homeless birds at the shallow crossings of the Arnon River.

16:2. For it shall be that, as wandering birds, as a scattered nest, so shall the daughters of Moab be at the fords of the Arnon.

16:2. Like fleeing birds, like a scattered nest, so are the daughters of Moab at the fords of the Arnon.

16:2. For it shall be, [that,] as a wandering bird cast out of the nest, so the daughters of Moab shall be at the fords of Arnon.

16:2. Like fluttering birds, like scattered nestlings, so are the daughters of Moab at the fords of the Arnon.

16:2. For it shall be that, as wandering birds, as a scattered nest, so shall the daughters of Moab be at the fords of Arnon.

16:2. And it hath come to pass, As a wandering bird, a nest cast out, Are daughters of Moab, [at] fords of Arnon.

16:2. The women of Moab try to cross the river Arnon. They run around looking for help, like little birds that have fallen from their nest.

16:2. For it shall be that, as wandering birds, as a scattered nest, so shall the daughters of Moab be at the fords of the Arnon.
