10:1. ஏழைகளை வழக்கிலே தோற்கப்பண்ணவும், என் ஜனத்தில் சிறுமையானவர்களின் நியாயத்தைப் புரட்டவும், விதவைகளைச் சூறையாடவும், திக்கற்ற பிள்ளைகளைக் கொள்ளையிடவும்,

10:1. தீமையான சட்டங்களை எழுதுகின்ற சட்ட நிபுணர்களுக்கு ஐயோ! அந்தச் சட்டமியற்றுபவர்கள் எழுதும் சட்டங்கள் ஜனங்களது வாழ்வைக் கடுமையாக்குகிறது.

10:1. Those who enact unjust policies are as good as dead, those who are always instituting unfair regulations,

10:1. What sorrow awaits the unjust judges and those who issue unfair laws.

10:1. Woe unto them that decree unrighteous decrees, and to the writers that write perverseness;

10:1. Woe to those who decree iniquitous decrees, and the writers who keep writing oppression,
