2:10. என் கண்கள் இச்சித்தவைகளில் ஒன்றையும் நான் அவைகளுக்குத் தடைபண்ணவில்லை; என் இருதயத்துக்கு ஒரு சந்தோஷத்தையும் நான் வேண்டாமென்று விலக்கவில்லை; நான் செய்த முயற்சிகளிலெல்லாம் என் மனம் மகிழ்ச்சிகொண்டிருந்தது; இதுவே என் பிரயாசங்கள் எல்லாவற்றினாலும் எனக்கு வந்த பலன்.

2:10. என் கண்கள் பார்த்து நான் விரும்பியதை எல்லாம் பெற்றேன். நான் செய்தவற்றிலெல்லாம் மனநிறைவு பெற்றேன். என் இதயம் பூரித்தது, இம்மகிழ்ச்சியே எனது அனைத்து கடின உழைப்பிற்கும் கிடைத்த வெகுமதி.

2:10. I did not restrain myself from getting whatever I wanted; I did not deny myself anything that would bring me pleasure. So all my accomplishments gave me joy; this was my reward for all my effort.

2:10. Anything I wanted, I would take. I denied myself no pleasure. I even found great pleasure in hard work, a reward for all my labors.

2:10. And whatsoever mine eyes desired I kept not from them; I withheld not my heart from any joy; for my heart rejoiced because of all my labor; and this was my portion from all my labor.

2:10. And whatever my eyes desired I did not keep from them. I kept my heart from no pleasure, for my heart found pleasure in all my toil, and this was my reward for all my toil.
