30:9. நான் பரிபூரணம் அடைகிறதினால் மறுதலித்து, கர்த்தர் யார் என்று சொல்லாதபடிக்கும்; தரித்திரப்படுகிறதினால் திருடி, என் தேவனுடைய நாமத்தை வீணிலே வழங்காதபடிக்கும், என் படியை எனக்கு அளந்து என்னைப் போஷித்தருளும்.

30:9. ஒருவேளை, என்னிடம் தேவைக்கு அதிகமான பொருட்கள் இருந்தால், நீர் எனக்குத் தேவையில்லை என்று எண்ணத் தொடங்குவேன். ஒரு வேளை நான் ஏழையாக இருந்தாலோ திருடலாம். இதனால் நான் தேவனுடைய நாமத்திற்கு அவமானத்தைத் தேடித்தருவேன்.

30:9. lest I become satisfied and act deceptively and say, "Who is the LORD?" Or lest I become poor and steal and demean the name of my God.

30:9. For if I grow rich, I may deny you and say, "Who is the LORD?" And if I am too poor, I may steal and thus insult God's holy name.

30:9. Lest I be full, and deny thee, and say, Who is Jehovah? Or lest I be poor, and steal, And use profanely the name of my God.

30:9. If I have too much, I might deny that I need you, Lord. But if I am too poor, I might steal and bring shame to the name of my God.
