28:7. வேதப்பிரமாணத்தைக் கைக்கொள்ளுகிறவன் விவேகமுள்ள புத்திரன்; போஜனப்பிரியருக்குத் தோழனாயிருக்கிறவனோ தன் தகப்பனை அவமானப்படுத்துகிறான்.

28:7. சட்டத்திற்கு அடிபணிபவன் புத்திசாலி. ஆனால் தகுதியற்றவர்களோடு நட்புகொள்கிறவன் தன் தந்தைக்கு அவமானத்தைத் தேடித்தருகிறான்.

28:7. The one who keeps the law is a discerning child, but a companion of gluttons brings shame to his parents.
