27:10. உன் சிநேகிதனையும், உன் தகப்பனுடைய சிநேகிதனையும் விட்டுவிடாதே; உன் ஆபத்துகாலத்தில் உன் சகோதரனுடைய வீட்டிற்குப் போகாதே; தூரத்திலுள்ள சகோதரனிலும் சமீபத்திலுள்ள அயலானே வாசி.

27:10. நீ உனது நண்பர்களையும் உனது தந்தையின் நண்பர்களையும் மறந்துவிடாதே. உனக்குத் துன்பம் நேரும்போது, உதவிக்காகத் தூரத்தில் உள்ள உன் சகோதரனை நாடிப்போகாதே. தூரத்தில் உள்ள உன் சகோதரனைத் தேடிப்போவதைவிட அருகில் உள்ளவனிடம் சென்று உதவி கேட்பது நல்லது.

27:10. Do not forsake your friend and your father's friend, and do not enter your brother's house in the day of your disaster; a neighbor nearby is better than a brother far away.

27:10. Never abandon a friend-- either yours or your father's. When disaster strikes, you won't have to ask your brother for assistance. It's better to go to a neighbor than to a brother who lives far away.
