24:16. நீதிமான் ஏழுதரம் விழுந்தாலும் திரும்பவும் எழுந்திருப்பான்; துன்மார்க்கரோ தீங்கிலே இடறுண்டு கிடப்பார்கள்.

24:16. நல்லவன் ஏழுமுறை விழுந்தாலும் மீண்டும் எழுந்துவிடுவான். ஆனால் தீயவர்களோ எப்பொழுதும் துன்பங்களால் தோற்கடிக்கப்படுவார்கள். -28-

24:16. Although a righteous person may fall seven times, he gets up again, but the wicked will be brought down by calamity.

24:16. The godly may trip seven times, but they will get up again. But one disaster is enough to overthrow the wicked.
