17:5. ஏழையைப் பரியாசம்பண்ணுகிறவன் அவனை உண்டாக்கினவரை நிந்திக்கிறான்; ஆபத்தைக் குறித்துக் களிக்கிறவன் தண்டனைக்குத் தப்பான்.

17:5. சிலர் ஏழை ஜனங்களைக் கேலிச் செய்வார்கள். தொல்லைகளுக்கு உள்ளானவர்களைப் பார்த்து அவர்கள் சிரிப்பார்கள். தம்மைப் படைத்த தேவனை அவர்கள் மதிப்பதில்லை என்பதையே இது காட்டுகிறது. அத்தீய ஜனங்கள் தண்டிக்கப் படுவார்கள்.

17:5. The one who mocks the poor insults his Creator; whoever rejoices over disaster will not go unpunished.
