16:5. மனமேட்டிமையுள்ளவனெவனும் கர்த்தருக்கு அருவருப்பானவன்; கையோடே கைகோத்தாலும் அவன் தண்டனைக்குத் தப்பான்.

16:5. மற்றவர்களைவிடத் தான் சிறந்தவன் என்று நினைப்பவர்களைக் கர்த்தர் வெறுக்கிறார். இவ்வாறு பெருமைகொள்கின்றவர்களை எல்லாம் கண்டிப்பாகக் கர்த்தர் தண்டிப்பார்.

16:5. The LORD abhors every arrogant person; rest assured that they will not go unpunished.
