14:31. தரித்திரனை ஒடுக்குகிறவன் அவனை உண்டாக்கினவரை நிந்திக்கிறான்; தரித்திரனுக்குத் தயைசெய்கிறவனோ அவரைக் கனம்பண்ணுகிறான்;

14:31. ஏழைகளுக்குத் துன்பம் செய்கிறவன் தேவனுக்கு மரியாதை செய்யாதவன் எனக் காண்பித்துக் கொள்கிறான். ஏனென்றால் இருவரையும் தேவனே படைத்துள்ளார். ஆனால் ஒருவன் ஏழைகளிடம் தயவாக இருந்தால் அவன் தேவனையும் மகிமைப்படுத்துகிறான்.

14:31. The one who oppresses the poor insults his Creator, but whoever shows favor to the needy honors him.
