8:6. அப்படியே ஆரோன் தன் கையை எகிப்திலுள்ள தண்ணீர்கள்மேல் நீட்டினான்; அப்பொழுது தவளைகள் வந்து, எகிப்து தேசத்தை மூடிக்கொண்டது.

8:6. எனவே ஆரோன் எகிப்தின் தண்ணீர் நிலைகள் அனைத்தின்மீதும் தனது கையைத் தூக்கினான். தவளைகள் தண்ணீரிலிருந்து வெளியேறிவர ஆரம்பித்து எகிப்து தேசமெங்கும் நிறைந்தன.
