5:2. அதற்குப் பார்வோன்: நான் இஸ்ரவேலைப் போகவிடக் கர்த்தரின் வார்த்தையைக் கேட்கிறதற்கு அவர் யார்? நான் கர்த்தரை அறியேன்; நான் இஸ்ரவேலைப் போகவிடுவதில்லை என்றான்.

5:2. ஆனால் பார்வோன், "யார் உங்கள் கர்த்தர்? நான் ஏன் அவருக்குக் கீழ்ப்படியவேண்டும்? இஸ்ரவேலரை நான் ஏன் போக அனுமதிக்கவேண்டும்? இந்த கர்த்தர் யாரென்று கூட எனக்குத் தெரியாது. நான் இஸ்ரவேலரைப் போக அனுமதிக்கமாட்டேன்" என்றான்.

5:2. But Pharaoh said, "Who is the LORD that I should obey him by releasing Israel? I do not know the LORD, and I will not release Israel!"

5:2. "Is that so?" retorted Pharaoh. "And who is the LORD? Why should I listen to him and let Israel go? I don't know the LORD, and I will not let Israel go."
