20:20. மோசே ஜனங்களை நோக்கி; பயப்படாதிருங்கள்; உங்களைச் சோதிப்பதற்காகவும், நீங்கள் பாவஞ்செய்யாதபடிக்குத் தம்மைப் பற்றும் பயம் உங்கள் முகத்திற்கு முன்பாக இருப்பதற்காகவும், தேவன் எழுந்தருளினார் என்றான்.

20:20. மோசே ஜனங்களிடம், "பயப்படாதீர்கள்! கர்த்தர் உங்களை நேசிக்கிறார் என்பதைக் காண்பிக்கும்படியாக வந்திருக்கிறார். நீங்கள் அவருக்கு மரியாதை கொடுக்க வேண்டும். அதினிமித்தமாக நீங்கள் பாவம் செய்யாதிருப்பீர்கள்" என்றான்.

20:20. Moses said to the people, "Do not fear, for God has come to test you, that the fear of him may be before you so that you do not sin."

20:20. "Don't be afraid," Moses answered them, "for God has come in this way to test you, and so that your fear of him will keep you from sinning!"

20:20. And Moses said unto the people, Fear not: for God is come to prove you, and that his fear may be before you, that ye sin not.
