1:16. நீங்கள் எபிரெய ஸ்திரீகளுக்கு மருத்துவம் செய்யும்போது, அவர்கள் மணையின்மேல் உட்கார்ந்திருக்கையில் பார்த்து, ஆண்பிள்ளையானால் கொன்றுபோடுங்கள், பெண்பிள்ளையானால் உயிரோடிருக்கட்டும் என்றான்.

1:16. "எபிரெயப் பெண்களின் பிரசவத்திற்கு நீங்கள் இருவரும் தொடர்ந்து உதவுங்கள். பெண் குழந்தை பிறந்தால், அக் குழந்தை உயிரோடிருக்கட்டும். குழந்தை ஆணாக இருந்தால், நீங்கள் அதைக் கொன்று விட வேண்டும்!" என்றான்.

1:16. "When you assist the Hebrew women in childbirth, observe at the delivery: If it is a son, kill him, but if it is a daughter, she may live."

1:16. "When you help the Hebrew women as they give birth, watch as they deliver. If the baby is a boy, kill him; if it is a girl, let her live."

1:16. and he said, When ye do the office of a midwife to the Hebrew women, and see them upon the birth-stool; if it be a son, then ye shall kill him; but if it be a daughter, then she shall live.

1:16. "When you serve as midwife to the Hebrew women and see them on the birthstool, if it is a son, you shall kill him, but if it is a daughter, she shall live."

1:16. And he said, When ye do the office of a midwife to the Hebrew women, and see [them] upon the stools; if it [be] a son, then ye shall kill him: but if it [be] a daughter, then she shall live.

1:16. and saith, `When ye cause the Hebrew women to bear, and have looked on the children; if it [is] a son -- then ye have put him to death; and if it [is] a daughter -- then she hath lived.`

1:16. "You will continue to help the Hebrew women give birth to their children. If a girl baby is born, let the baby live. But if the baby is a boy, you must kill him!"

1:16. and he said, "When you perform the duty of a midwife to the Hebrew women, and see them on the birth stool; if it is a son, then you shall kill him; but if it is a daughter, then she shall live."
