49:18. அவன் உயிரோடிருக்கையில் தன் ஆத்துமாவை வாழ்த்தினாலும்: நீ உனக்கு நன்மையை நாடினாய் என்று மனுஷர் அவனைப் புகழந்தாலும்,

49:18. மனிதர்கள் வாழ்நாளின்போது தேவனை வாழ்த்தவேண்டும். தேவன் மனிதருக்கு நல்லவற்றைச் செய்கையில் அவர்கள் தேவனை வாழ்த்தவேண்டும்.

49:18. He pronounces this blessing on himself while he is alive: "May men praise you, for you have done well!"

49:18. In this life they consider themselves fortunate and are applauded for their success.

49:18. Though while he lived he blessed his soul (And men praise thee, when thou doest well to thyself,)

49:18. For though, while he lives, he counts himself blessed,- and though you get praise when you do well for yourself-

49:18. A wealthy man might tell himself how well he has done in life. And other people might praise him.
