16:4. அந்நியதேவனை நாடிப் பின்பற்றுகிறவர்களுக்கு வேதனைகள் பெருகும்; அவர்கள் செலுத்துகிற இரத்த பானபலிகளை நான் செலுத்தமாட்டேன், அவர்கள் நாமங்களை என் உதடுகளினால் உச்சரிக்கவுமாட்டேன்.

16:4. பிற தெய்வங்களைத் தொழுதுகொள்ள ஓடும் ஜனங்களோ வேதனைக்கு ஆளாவார்கள். அவ்விக்கிரகங்களுக்கு அவர்கள் படைக்கும் இரத்த பலிகளில் நான் பங்கு கொள்ளமாட்டேன். அவ்விக்கிரகங்களின் பெயர்களையும் கூட நான் கூறமாட்டேன்.

16:4. their troubles multiply, they desire other gods. I will not pour out drink offerings of blood to their gods, nor will I make vows in the name of their gods.

16:4. Troubles multiply for those who chase after other gods. I will not take part in their sacrifices of blood or even speak the names of their gods.

16:4. Their sorrows shall be multiplied that give gifts for another god: Their drink-offerings of blood will I not offer, Nor take their names upon my lips.

16:4. The sorrows of those who run after another god shall multiply; their drink offerings of blood I will not pour out or take their names on my lips.

16:4. Those who choose another god multiply their sorrows; their libations of blood I will not pour out or take their names upon my lips.

16:4. Multiplied are their griefs, [Who] have hastened backward; I pour not out their libations of blood, Nor do I take up their names on my lips.

16:4. But those who worship other gods will have many troubles. I will not share in the gifts of blood they offer to their idols. I will not even say their names.
