147:1. கர்த்தரைத் துதியுங்கள்; நம்முடைய தேவனைக் கீர்த்தனம்பண்ணுகிறது நல்லது, துதித்தலே இன்பமும் ஏற்றதுமாயிருக்கிறது.

147:1. கர்த்தர் நல்லவர், எனவே அவரைத் துதியுங்கள். எங்கள் தேவனுக்கு துதிகளைப் பாடுங்கள். அவரைத் துதிப்பது நல்லதும் களிப்புமானது.
