111:10. கர்த்தருக்குப் பயப்படுதலே ஞானத்தின் ஆரம்பம்; அவருடைய கற்பனைகளின்படி செய்கிற யாவருக்கும் நற்புத்தியுண்டு; அவர் புகழ்ச்சி என்றைக்கும் நிற்கும்.

111:10. தேவனுக்குப் பயப்படுவதும் அவரை மதிப்பதுமே ஞானத்தின் தொடக்கமாயிருக்கிறது. தேவனுக்குக் கீழ்ப்படிகிற ஜனங்கள் மிகுந்த ஞானமுள்ளவர்கள். என்றென்றும் தேவனுக்குத் துதிகள் பாடப்படும்.

111:10. To obey the LORD is the fundamental principle for wise living; all who carry out his precepts acquire good moral insight. He will receive praise forever.
