4:16. அது ஒரு உருப்போல என் கண்களுக்குமுன் நின்றது, ஆனாலும் அதின் ரூபம் இன்னதென்று விளங்கவில்லை; அமைதலுண்டாயிற்று, அப்பொழுது நான் கேட்ட சத்தமாவது:

4:16. ஆவி அசையாது நின்றது, என்னால் அது என்னவென்று பார்க்க முடியவில்லை. என் கண்களின் முன்னே ஒரு உருவம் நின்றது, அப்போது அமைதியாயிருந்தது. அப்போது மிக அமைதியான ஒரு குரலைக் கேட்டேன்:

4:16. It stands still, but I cannot recognize its appearance; an image is before my eyes, and I hear a murmuring voice:

4:16. The spirit stopped, but I couldn't see its shape. There was a form before my eyes. In the silence I heard a voice say,

4:16. It stood still, but I could not discern the appearance thereof; A form was before mine eyes: There was silence, and I heard a voice, saying,

4:16. It stood still, but I could not discern its appearance. A form was before my eyes; there was silence, then I heard a voice:

4:16. It stood still, but I could not discern the form thereof: an image [was] before mine eyes, [there was] silence, and I heard a voice, [saying, ]
