23:17. அந்தகாரம் வராததற்கு முன்னே நான் சங்கரிக்கப்படாமலும், இருளை அவர் எனக்கு மறைக்காமலும் போனதினால் இப்படியிருக்கிறேன்.

23:17. என் முகத்தை மூடும் கருமேகத்தைப் போன்று எனக்கு நேர்ந்த தீயகாரியங்கள் உள்ளன. ஆனால் அந்த இருள் என்னை அடக்காது.

23:17. Yet I have not been silent because of the darkness, because of the thick darkness that covered my face.

23:17. Darkness is all around me; thick, impenetrable darkness is everywhere.

23:17. Because I was not cut off before the darkness, Neither did he cover the thick darkness from my face.

23:17. What has happened to me is like a dark cloud over my face. But the darkness will not keep me quiet.
