4:2. ராஜாவின் அரமனை வாசல் முகப்புமட்டும் வந்தான்; இரட்டுடுத்தினவனாய் ராஜாவின் அரமனை வாசலுக்குள் பிரவேசிக்க ஒருவனுக்கும் உத்தரவில்லை.

4:2. ஆனால் மொர்தெகாய் அரசனது வாசல் வரைதான் போனான். துக்கத்திற்குரிய ஆடையை அணிந்திருந்த எவரையும் வாசலில் நுழைய அனுமதிக்கமாட்டார்கள்.

4:2. But he went no further than the king's gate, for no one was permitted to enter the king's gate clothed in sackcloth.
