4:20. எருசலேமில் வல்லமையுள்ள ராஜாக்கள் இருந்தார்கள் என்றும், அவர்கள் நதிக்கு அப்புறத்தில் இருக்கிற சகல தேசங்களையும் ஆண்டுவந்தார்கள் என்றும், பகுதியும் தீர்வையும் ஆயமும் அவர்களுக்குச் செலுத்தப்பட்டது என்றும் தெரியவருகிறது.

4:20. ஐபிராத்து ஆற்றுக்கு மேற்கிலுள்ள பகுதி முழுவதையும் ஆட்சி செய்த வலிமைமிக்க அரசர்களை எருசலேம் பெற்றிருந்திருக்கிறது. அரசர்களைக் கௌரவிக்க வரிகளும், பணமும் செலுத்தப்பட்டன மேலும் அவ்வரசர்களுக்குக் கப்பங்களும் கட்டப்பட்டன.

4:20. Powerful kings have been over Jerusalem who ruled throughout the entire Trans-Euphrates and who were the beneficiaries of tribute, custom, and toll.
