33:23. தன் தகப்பனாகிய மனாசே தன்னைத் தாழ்த்திக்கொண்டதுபோல, இந்த ஆமோன் என்பவன் கர்த்தருக்கு முன்பாகத் தன்னைத் தாழ்த்தாமல் மேன்மேலும் அக்கிரமம் செய்துவந்தான்.

33:23. அவனது தந்தையாகிய மனாசே கர்த்தருக்கு முன்னால் பணிவாக இருந்ததுபோல கர்த்தருக்கு முன்னால் ஆமோன் தன்னைத்தானே பணிவுடையவனாக்கிக் கொள்ளவில்லை. ஆனால் அவன் மேலும் மேலும் பாவங்களைச் செய்துக்கொண்டிருந்தான்.

33:23. He did not humble himself before the LORD as his father Manasseh had done. Amon was guilty of great sin.
