27:9. யோதாம் தன் பிதாக்களோடே நித்திரையடைந்தபின்பு, அவனைத் தாவீதின் நகரத்திலே அடக்கம் பண்ணினார்கள்; அவன் குமாரனாகிய ஆகாஸ் அவன் ஸ்தானத்தில் ராஜாவானான்.

27:9. பிறகு யோதாம் மரிக்க அவனை அவனது முற்பிதாக்களோடு அடக்கம் செய்தனர். அவன் தாவீது நகரத்திலே அடக்கம் செய்யப்பட்டான். யோதாமின் இடத்திலே புதிய அரசனாக ஆகாஸ் வந்தான். ஆகாஸ் யோதாமின் மகன்.
