1:9. இப்போதும் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தாவே, நீர் என் தகப்பனாகிய தாவீதுக்கு அருளின உமது வாக்குத்தத்தம் உறுதிப்படுவதாக; தேவரீர் பூமியின் தூளத்தனை ஏராளமான ஜனத்தின்மேல் என்னை ராஜாவாக்கினீர்.

1:9. இப்போது தேவனாகிய கர்த்தாவே! என் தந்தை தாவீதிற்குக் கொடுத்த வாக்குறுதியைக் காப்பாற்றும். இப்பெரிய நாட்டிற்கு என்னை அரசனாகத் தேர்ந்தெடுத்திருக்கிறீர். பூமியில் உள்ள புழுதியைப் போன்று ஏராளமான அளவில் ஜனங்கள் வசிக்கின்றனர்.
