8:10. எலிசா அவனை நோக்கி: நீ போய், வியாதி நீங்கிப் பிழைப்பீர் என்று அவனுக்குச் சொல்லு; ஆனாலும் அவன் சாகவே சாவான் என்பதைக் கர்த்தர் எனக்குக் காண்பித்தார் என்றான்.

8:10. பிறகு எலிசா ஆசகேலிடம், "போய் பெனாதாத்திடம், ‘நீ நோய் நீங்கிப் பிழைப்பாய்’ என்று கூறு. எனினும், கர்த்தர் ‘அவன் மரித்துப்போவான்’ என்றே கூறுகிறார்" என்றான். தீர்க்கதரிசனம் சொன்னது

8:10. Elisha said to him, "Go and tell him, 'You will surely recover,' but the LORD has revealed to me that he will surely die."

8:10. And Elisha replied, "Go and tell him, 'You will surely recover.' But actually the LORD has shown me that he will surely die!"

8:10. And Elisha said unto him, Go, say unto him, Thou shalt surely recover; howbeit Jehovah hath showed me that he shall surely die.

8:10. And Elisha said to him, "Go, say to him, 'You shall certainly recover,' but the LORD has shown me that he shall certainly die."

8:10. And Elisha said unto him, Go, say unto him, Thou mayest certainly recover: howbeit the LORD hath shewed me that he shall surely die.

8:10. And Elisha said to him, "Go, say to him, `You shall certainly recover'; but the LORD has shown me that he shall certainly die."

8:10. And Elisha said unto him, Go, say unto him, Thou shalt surely recover; howbeit the LORD hath shewed me that he shall surely die.

8:10. And Elisha saith unto him, `Go, say, Thou dost certainly not revive, seeing Jehovah hath shewed me that he doth surely die.`

8:10. Then Elisha said to Hazael, "Go and tell Ben-Hadad, 'You will live.' But really the Lord told me, 'He will die.'"

8:10. Elisha said to him, Go, tell him, You shall surely recover; however Yahweh has shown me that he shall surely die.
