2:9. ஆகிலும் நீ அவனைக் குற்றமற்றவன் என்று எண்ணாதே; நீ புத்திமான்; அவனுடைய நரைமயிரை இரத்தத்துடன் பாதாளத்தில் இறங்கப்பண்ண, நீ அவனுக்குச் செய்யவேண்டியதை அறிவாய் என்றான்.

2:9. எனினும், அவனை குற்றமற்றவன் என்று எண்ணி நீ தண்டிக்காமல் விட்டுவிடாதே. அவனை என்ன செய்யவேண்டும் என்று உனக்குத் தெரியும். அவனையும் முதியவயதில் சமாதானத்தோடு மரிக்குமாறு விட்டுவிடாதே" என்றான்.

2:9. But now don't treat him as if he were innocent. You are a wise man and you know how to handle him; make sure he has a bloody death."

2:9. But that oath does not make him innocent. You are a wise man, and you will know how to arrange a bloody death for him. "

2:9. Now therefore hold him not guiltless, for thou art a wise man; and thou wilt know what thou oughtest to do unto him, and thou shalt bring his hoar head down to Sheol with blood.

2:9. Now therefore do not hold him guiltless, for you are a wise man. You will know what you ought to do to him, and you shall bring his gray head down with blood to Sheol."

2:9. Now therefore hold him not guiltless: for thou [art] a wise man, and knowest what thou oughtest to do unto him; but his hoar head bring thou down to the grave with blood.
