47:26. ஐந்தில் ஒன்று பார்வோனுக்குச் சேரும் வாரம் என்று யோசேப்பு இட்ட கட்டளைப்படி எகிப்து தேசத்திலே இந்நாள்வரைக்கும் நடந்துவருகிறது; ஆசாரியரின் நிலம் மாத்திரம் பார்வோனைச் சேராமல் நீங்கலாயிருந்தது.

47:26. எனவே, யோசேப்பு அப்போது ஒரு சட்டத்தை இயற்றினான். அது இன்றும் உள்ளது. அதன்படி நில வருவாயில் ஐந்தில் ஒரு பாகமானது பார்வோனுக்குரியது. பார்வோனுக்கு எல்லா நிலமும் சொந்தமாக இருக்கும். ஆசாரியர்களின் நிலம் மட்டுமே, பார்வோனுக்குச் சொந்தமாகவில்லை.

47:26. So Joseph made it a statute, which is in effect to this day throughout the land of Egypt: One-fifth belongs to Pharaoh. Only the land of the priests did not become Pharaoh's.

47:26. Joseph then issued a decree still in effect in the land of Egypt, that Pharaoh should receive one-fifth of all the crops grown on his land. Only the land belonging to the priests was not given to Pharaoh.

47:26. And Joseph made it a statute concerning the land of Egypt unto this day, that Pharaoh should have the fifth; only the land of the priests alone became not Pharaohs.

47:26. So Joseph made it a statute concerning the land of Egypt, and it stands to this day, that Pharaoh should have the fifth; the land of the priests alone did not become Pharaoh's.

47:26. And Joseph made it a law over the land of Egypt unto this day, [that] Pharaoh should have the fifth [part;] except the land of the priests only, [which] became not Pharaoh’s.

47:26. So Joseph made it a statute concerning the land of Egypt, and it stands to this day, that Pharaoh should have the fifth; the land of the priests alone did not become Pharaoh's.

47:26. and Joseph setteth it for a statute unto this day, concerning the ground of Egypt, [that] Pharaoh hath a fifth; only the ground of the priests alone hath not become Pharaoh`s.

47:26. So Joseph made a law at that time in the land, and that law still continues today. The law says that one-fifth of everything from the land belongs to the Pharaoh who owns all the land. The only land he does not own is the land of the priests.
