38:7. யூதாவின் மூத்த மகனாகிய ஏர் என்பவன் கர்த்தரின் பார்வைக்குப் பொல்லாதவனாயிருந்ததினால், கர்த்தர் அவனை அழித்துப்போட்டார்.

38:7. ஆனால் ஏர் பல தீய செயல்களைச் செய்தான். கர்த்தர் அவனைப் பற்றி சந்தோஷமடையாததால், கர்த்தர் அவனை அழித்துவிட்டார்.
