32:29. அப்பொழுது யாக்கோபு: உம்முடைய நாமத்தை எனக்கு அறிவிக்கவேண்டும் என்று கேட்டான்; அதற்கு அவர்: நீ என் நாமத்தைக் கேட்பானேன் என்று சொல்லி, அங்கே அவனை ஆசீர்வதித்தார்.

32:29. யாக்கோபு அவரிடம், "உமது பெயரைத் தயவு செய்து சொல்லும்" என்றான். ஆனால் அவர், "என் பெயரை ஏன் கேட்கிறாய்?" என்று கேட்டார். அதே சமயத்தில் அவர் யாக்கோபை ஆசீர்வதித்தார்.

32:29. Then Jacob asked, "Please tell me your name." "Why do you ask my name?" the man replied. Then he blessed Jacob there.

32:29. "Please tell me your name," Jacob said."Why do you want to know my name?" the man replied. Then he blessed Jacob there.

32:29. And Jacob asked him, and said, Tell me, I pray thee, thy name. And he said, Wherefore is it that thou dost ask after my name? And he blessed him there.

32:29. Then Jacob asked him, "Please tell me your name." But he said, "Why is it that you ask my name?" And there he blessed him.

32:29. And Jacob asked [him,] and said, Tell [me,] I pray thee, thy name. And he said, Wherefore [is] it [that] thou dost ask after my name? And he blessed him there.

32:29. Then Jacob asked him, "Tell me, I pray, your name." But he said, "Why is it that you ask my name?" And there he blessed him.

32:29. And Jacob asked him, and said, Tell me, I pray thee, thy name. And he said, Wherefore is it that thou dost ask after my name? And he blessed him there.

32:29. And Jacob asketh, and saith, `Declare, I pray thee, thy name;` and he saith, `Why [is] this, thou askest for My name?` and He blesseth him there.

32:29. Then Jacob asked him, "Please tell me your name." But the man said, "Why do you ask my name?" Then the man blessed Jacob at that place.

32:29. Jacob asked him, "Please tell me your name." He said, "Why is it that you ask what my name is?" He blessed him there.
