17:20. இஸ்மவேலுக்காகவும் நீ செய்த விண்ணப்பத்தைக் கேட்டேன்; நான் அவனை ஆசீர்வதித்து, அவனை மிகவும் அதிகமாகப் பலுகவும் பெருகவும் பண்ணுவேன்; அவன் பன்னிரண்டு பிரபுக்களைப் பெறுவான்; அவனைப் பெரிய ஜாதியாக்குவேன்.

17:20. "நீ இஸ்மவேலைப்பற்றிச் சொன்னாய். நான் அவனையும் ஆசீர்வதிப்பேன். அவனுக்கும் நிறைய பிள்ளைகள் இருக்கும். அவன் 12 பெரிய தலைவர்களுக்குத் தந்தையாவான். அவனது குடும்பமே ஒரு நாடாகும்.

17:20. As for Ishmael, I have heard you. I will indeed bless him, make him fruitful, and give him a multitude of descendants. He will become the father of twelve princes; I will make him into a great nation.

17:20. As for Ishmael, I will bless him also, just as you have asked. I will make him extremely fruitful and multiply his descendants. He will become the father of twelve princes, and I will make him a great nation.
