15:4. அப்பொழுது கர்த்தருடைய வார்த்தை அவனுக்கு உண்டாகி: இவன் உனக்குச் சுதந்தரவாளியல்ல, உன் கர்ப்பப்பிறப்பாயிருப்பவனே உனக்குச் சுதந்தரவாளியாவான் என்று சொல்லி,

15:4. கர்த்தர் ஆபிராமிடம், "அந்த அடிமை உனக்குரியவற்றைப் பெறமாட்டான். உனக்கொரு மகன் பிறப்பான். அவனே உனக்குரியவற்றைப் பெற்றுக்கொள்வான்" என்றார்.

15:4. But look, the word of the LORD came to him: "This man will not be your heir, but instead a son who comes from your own body will be your heir."

15:4. Then the LORD said to him, "No, your servant will not be your heir, for you will have a son of your own who will be your heir."

15:4. And, behold, the word of Jehovah came unto him, saying, This man shall not be thine heir; But he that shall come forth out of thine own bowels shall be thine heir.

15:4. And behold, the word of the LORD came to him: "This man shall not be your heir; your very own son shall be your heir."

15:4. Then the Lord spoke to Abram and said, "That slave will not be the one to get what you have. You will have a son who will get everything you own."
