15:13. அப்பொழுது அவர் ஆபிராமை நோக்கி: உன் சந்ததியார் தங்களுடையதல்லாத அந்நிய தேசத்திலே பரதேசிகளாயிருந்து, அத்தேசத்தாரைச் சேவிப்பார்கள் என்றும், அவர்களால் நானூறு வருஷம் உபத்திரவப்படுவார்கள் என்றும், நீ நிச்சயமாய் அறியக்கடவாய்.

15:13. பிறகு கர்த்தர் ஆபிராமிடம், "நீ இவ்விஷயங்களைப்பற்றி அறிய வேண்டும். உனது சந்ததி தங்களுக்குச் சொந்தமில்லாத நாட்டிலே அந்நியர்களாக இருப்பார்கள். அங்குள்ளவர்கள் அவர்களை 400 ஆண்டு காலத்துக்கு அடிமைகளாக வைத்திருந்து, மோசமாக நடத்துவார்கள்.

15:13. Then the LORD said to Abram, "Know for certain that your descendants will be strangers in a foreign country. They will be enslaved and oppressed for four hundred years.

15:13. Then the LORD said to Abram, "You can be sure that your descendants will be strangers in a foreign land, where they will be oppressed as slaves for 400 years.

15:13. And he said unto Abram, Know of a surety that thy seed shall be sojourners in a land that is not theirs, and shall serve them; and they shall afflict them four hundred years;

15:13. Then the LORD said to Abram, "Know for certain that your offspring will be sojourners in a land that is not theirs and will be servants there, and they will be afflicted for four hundred years.

15:13. And he said unto Abram, Know of a surety that thy seed shall be a stranger in a land [that is] not theirs, and shall serve them; and they shall afflict them four hundred years;

15:13. Then the LORD said to Abram, "Know of a surety that your descendants will be sojourners in a land that is not theirs, and will be slaves there, and they will be oppressed for four hundred years;

15:13. And he said unto Abram, Know of a surety that thy seed shall be a stranger in a land that is not theirs, and shall serve them; and they shall afflict them four hundred years;

15:13. and He saith to Abram, `knowing -- know that thy seed is a sojourner in a land not theirs, and they have served them, and they have afflicted them four hundred years,

15:13. Then the Lord said to Abram, "You should know this: Your descendants will live in a country that is not their own. They will be strangers there. The people there will make them slaves and be cruel to them for 400 years.

15:13. He said to Abram, "Know for sure that your seed will live as foreigners in a land that is not theirs, and will serve them. They will afflict them four hundred years.
