19. பிறகு தாவீது, "தேவனே! என்னால் இத்தண்ணீரைக் குடிக்கமுடியாது. தங்கள் உயிரைப் பணயம் வைத்து இவர்கள் இத்தண்ணீரைக் கொண்டுவந்தனர். இதனைக் குடிப்பது இவர்களின் இரத்தத்தைக் குடிப்பது போன்றதாகும்" என்றான். இதற்காகத்தான் தாவீது அந்த தண்ணீரைக் குடிக்க மறுத்தான். இதுபோல பல்வேறு சாகசங்களை மூன்று வீரர்களும் செய்தனர்.
